Commitments of the scientific-technological agents

The public and private institutions and organisations entering into this Corporate Agreement who are part of the Innovation and Knowledge System, jointly and individually, hereby EXPRESSLY will ACCEPT THE CO-RESPONSIBILITY for the competitive capacity of the whole System on the following grounds:

1. To generate scientific-technological knowledge and ride towards the scientific-technological excellence of our System understood as the best way in which each one of our agents can compete in the society of global knowledge. For this purpose, we will work and pursue the outcomes required in our organisations until we lift our System to the top of international rankings in terms of patents and scientific publications.

2. To work in sync under the trinomial “sharing-cooperating-competing” and commit to the European Research Space as the natural scenario of our research activity.

3. To promote relationships between the scientific-technological agents and the business sector.

There also exist a set of specific commitments for the universities and technological or research centres, as well as researchers and technologists.
